Born in Orlando, Florida, Lisa spent her childhood in Montgomery, Alabama with her parents, her brother Danny, and various dogs, cats and rabbits. She was stage struck at an early age, landing the roles of Ophelia (in Hamlet) and Frankie (in Member of the Wedding) at local theatres.

She later went on to study acting at the University of Alabama (BA), the Ohio University Professional Actors Training Program (MFA) and on internship at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.

After college, she and her husband, director Marcus Geduld, moved to New York City, where they co-founded Folding Chair Classical Theatre, Inc. Lisa and Marcus currently live in Brooklyn with their pet turtle.

In addition to acting, Lisa thrives on the New York Times crossword puzzle, baking, reading Jane Austen novels and watching The Food Network.
