Born in Orlando, Florida, Lisa spent her childhood in Montgomery,
Alabama with her parents, her brother Danny, and various dogs, cats
and rabbits. She was stage struck at an early age, landing the roles
of Ophelia (in Hamlet) and Frankie (in Member of the
Wedding) at local theatres.
She later went on to study acting at the University of Alabama
(BA), the Ohio University Professional Actors Training Program (MFA)
and on internship at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.
After college, she and her husband, director Marcus Geduld, moved
to New York City, where they co-founded Folding
Chair Classical Theatre, Inc. Lisa and Marcus currently live
in Brooklyn with their pet turtle.
In addition to acting, Lisa thrives on the New York Times
crossword puzzle, baking, reading Jane Austen novels and watching
The Food Network.
